As I said I would yesterday, I just watched ‘Rear Window’. Probably my favourite Hitchcock movie out of the four I’ve seen so far.
It’s aged remarkably well. The story is still exciting and the suspense is still strong. Something I also found very well done was the way all the surrounding neighbours’ little side stories played out. Sexy, funny, tragic; they all hinted at their own stories and seeing them develop in their disjointed way was very entertaining. I guess the movie makes a real voyeur out of not only its main characters, but its audience as well.
By the way, Grace Kelly is absolutely beautiful.
And hey, it has a guy in a wheelchair! Technically, he’s not actually disabled. But what the hell, it’s still fitting.

Just watched Alfred Hitchcock’s ‘Psycho’ for the first time. I enjoyed it very much. I think I’ll watch ‘Rear Window’ tomorrow.
But why this beautiful naked lady? Well, this is Marli Renfro, who was Janet Leigh’s body double in the (in)famous shower scene. So almost whenever you see more of Leigh’s naked body than what you can see in the pictures below, you’re looking at the lovely lady above. You never quite get to see as much as in that picture though.
